What about patient owed-balances?  Will the billing services contact patients who do not pay their bills or do not follow the payment plans that the patient agreed to?

That depends on the billing service you contract with.  The billing services owned and operated by Inga Ellzey do not function in the capacity of a collection agency.  Collection agencies are highly regulated by strict State and Federal laws.  Therefore, our billing services only bill patients, answer patient questions regarding their bills, and/or forward patient accounts to collection entities as authorized by the practice.  No contacts are initiated by the billing service.
